Pool repair, leak detection and new pools in Cape Town

Tell us what your pool is doing. We refer you to an independent pool contractor who covers your suburb, for repairs, leak detection, pump faults, renovations or a new pool.

A referral service, not a pool contractor. The contractor quotes you directly.

What we do

Finding the right person for a pool job in Cape Town is harder than it should be. Some contractors only clean pools. Some only build them. A pool that is losing water needs someone who will test before they dig, and a pool in sandy ground near the coast needs someone who knows not to drain it on a guess.

We are a referral service for swimming pool work across the Cape Town metro. You tell us your suburb and what the pool is doing. We pass the enquiry to an independent pool contractor who covers your area and does that kind of work. The contractor contacts you, inspects, and quotes you directly. You decide whether to go ahead.

We do not do the work, we do not set the price, and we do not publish ratings, credentials or prices that nobody has confirmed. What we do publish is plain, local information about pools in Cape Town, so you can describe the problem well and compare quotes sensibly.

Pool services we refer

Repair and construction are the heart of what we do. Cleaning and maintenance is a separate, recurring service, and we keep it separate.

Start with the problem, not the fix

The most expensive pool repairs are often the ones aimed at the wrong thing. Lifting paving to chase a leak that is really in the pump room, or patching a crack that keeps opening because the ground is moving, wastes money. So we ask what the pool is doing, and we point you to a contractor who diagnoses first.

Cape Town areas we cover

Cape Town's ground and weather change from one side of the mountain to the other. Sandy coastal ground with a high water table, clay that moves with the seasons, salt air, heavy winter rain under the mountain and the summer south-easter all change how pools fail and how they should be repaired. Our area pages explain what to expect where you live.

How the referral works

  1. Tell us about the pool. Your suburb, what the pool is doing, and how to reach you.
  2. We refer the enquiry. We pass it to an independent contractor who covers your suburb and does that kind of work.
  3. The contractor contacts you. They ask questions, inspect where needed and quote you directly.
  4. You decide. There is no obligation to accept a quote. Your agreement for the work is with the contractor.

Plan ahead of the season

The Cape swim season runs roughly from September to March, and pool contractors are busiest from spring to late summer. If you are planning a renovation, resurfacing or a new pool for December, start the conversation in winter. If your pool woke up green or leaking after winter, our guide to preparing your pool for summer has a checklist.
